APO Supported Programs

The APO Foundation

The programs listed on our website are programs of a nonprofit private foundation called The APO Foundation Inc. The American Philanthropic Organization LLC (the website your on) exists to support programs and cover the overhead costs of The APO Foundation Inc, through fund raising campaigns and donations from profits of apparel sales. When you donate on our website, the money is directly deposited into The APO Foundation Inc bank account, and a tax deductible receipt is uploaded to the “My Account” page on this website.

100% of Donations Direct to Vet

For 100% of your donation to go directly to the veteran, we offer the choice to pay for your merchant processing fee upon checkout, if you choose not to, 96.5% of your donation goes directly to veteran. The APO Foundation or American Philanthropic Organization LLC does not use donations for overhead expenses. The only fee taken out of donations is the merchant processing fee, which is a mandatory fee charged by banking institutions for transaction management.

Mission of March Village Programs

Our goal at APO is to help The APO Foundation instill hope, offer support, and provide security to March Village Residents. Our ultimate goal, and if applicable, is to get these veterans back into society with sustainable employment. We believe our veterans are capable of being some of the most influential citizens if given the chance and support to get back in the game.

Donations of new clothes from APO Customers who purchased APO Apparel

New Clothing Store Program

The goal of this program is to provide residents with new clothes. It’s makeover time, some residents come with nothing but the clothes on their backs, or have a closet full of used old clothes. 

You feel how you look. Support the residents and help them feel like a new man or woman by wearing APO Apparel. Every item you purchase, we donate an equivalent apparel item to the village. 

Food Pantry Program

The goal of this program is to provide incoming and current residents with basic food necessitates to sustain themselves. 

It’s like a food pantry at the Salvation Army, except most veterans don’t have transportation to get to the food pantries, so we’re establishing one on-site the building. Support incoming and current residents with basic necessities to survive by subscribing to our monthly donation membership.

APO donor sponsored the enrollment of a child resident into Boy Scouts

Kids, just want to have fun, Program

The goal of this program is to provide the children of residents with fun activities that kids enjoy. Playing with others and being active is crucial to the development of children.

It’s never to late to enjoy your childhood. Support the children of the residents and allow them to enjoy their childhood the way kids are supposed to. Support our Kids Program and promote healthy physical and social activities for children by subscribing to our monthly donation membership.

Social Activities Program

Our mission at APO is support The APO Foundation in getting these veterans back into society and the workforce. The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for veterans to be socially active. Interacting with society is something these vets miss out on, but wish they could.

Having a social life is at the core of human desire. Support the residents and promote healthy social interaction by subscribing to our monthly donation membership to help pay for events that allow residents to engage in social interaction we engage in everyday.

APO took profits from apparel sales and paid for a Sunday Funday Pool Party

Yoga Program

The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for veterans to engage in low strenuous activity that is commonly used to alleviate mental and physical issues.

The nature of yoga is to shine the light of awareness into the darkest corners of the body. Support the residents and promote physical and mental health by subscribing to our monthly donation membership to help purchase yoga equipment needed for the various types of disabilities of the residents.

Hiking Program

The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for veterans to engage in outdoor activity at their own pace. Not every veterans can go on hikes, but the ones who can love it.

A walk in nature walks the soul back home. Support the residents and promote physical and mental health by subscribing to our monthly donation membership to help pay for transportation to and from the hiking trails.

APO Customers donated brand new socks and shoes to a resident through our campaigns

Bicycle Program

The goal of this program is to provide opportunities for veterans to be active. Bike riding is low impact, high activity. Ten or more bikes were donated, but need fixing to ride. One of the residents at March Village is mechanically inclined and volunteered to get the bikes working.

The bicycle is a curious vehicle. Its passenger is its engine. Support the residents and promote physical and mental health by subscribing to our monthly donation membership.

OC Boxes Program

This program is owned and operated by The Grove Community Church, in Riverside, CA. We have it listed here because what their doing is awesome, and we at APO also volunteer to help ensure this program is successful.

OC Boxes are donation boxes from a food pantry that contains non perishable groceries. Residents who qualify and sign up receive these boxes on a monthly basis.
